Stroke-a-Doodle Commissioned Artwork Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before commissioning artwork from Stroke-a-Doodle. By placing a commission, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Commission Process:

1.1. To initiate a commission, clients must contact Stroke-a-Doodle through the designated channels provided on the website.

1.2. Stroke-a-Doodle reserves the right to decline any commission request at its discretion.

2. Payment:

2.1. All commissions require a non-refundable deposit (50% of total value of commission), the amount of which will be communicated during the initial discussion.

2.2. Full payment must be made upon completion of the artwork and before delivery.

3. Artwork Specifications:

3.1. Clients must provide detailed specifications for the commissioned artwork, including size, style, color preferences, and any other relevant details.

3.2. Changes to the specifications after the commission has been confirmed may incur additional charges.

4. Intellectual Property:

4.1. Stroke-a-Doodle retains the copyright and intellectual property rights to all commissioned artwork.

4.2. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the commissioned artwork without explicit permission from Stroke-a-Doodle.

5. Delivery:

5.1. Stroke-a-Doodle will provide an estimated delivery date upon commission confirmation.

5.2. Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as technical issues or force majeure, will be communicated to the client.

6. Refunds and Cancellations:

6.1. The non-refundable deposit is forfeited upon cancellation by the client .

6.2. Refunds will only be considered if Stroke-a-Doodle is unable to fulfil the commission for reasons beyond its control.

7. Client Responsibilities:

7.1. Clients are responsible for providing accurate and clear commission specifications.

7.2. Stroke-a-Doodle is not liable for any dissatisfaction resulting from inaccurate or unclear specifications (or expectations) provided by the client.

8. Privacy Policy:

8.1. Client information and commission details will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of completing the commission.

9. Dispute Resolution:

9.1. Any disputes arising from the commission will be resolved through negotiation between the client and Stroke-a-Doodle.

10. Amendments to Terms:

10.1. Stroke-a-Doodle reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.

By commissioning artwork from Stroke-a-Doodle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
